giants, gobs, barbs, healers, and hogs are horrible when defending from attacks in clan war

Dragons or wizards, and if your clan is able to, valkyries. It's so funn watching a valkyrie decimate an entire ring of troops.
Or donate wallbreakers just for the troll.
Personally, I love it when people have dragons in their cc especially if their cc is hard to get at, since there's literally no waiting time to pull the entire thing. A CC of 15+ archers followed by wizards on the other hand... definitely not my friend.
Dragons are easy to take down as well... surround with archers and then drop a barb right underneath it every couple of seconds. Dragon goes after the barb while the archers are busy doing their thing. And with the royalty change, it's even easier, since the king and queen aren't there to distract the archers while taking the dragon down.
