well i can't see all your elixir troop upgrades but i'd say NO. I believe you should max everything. IF i was going to do the bare minimum i'd upgrade my king to 5, and my walls to deep purple completely, all air, tesla, wiz towers, and mortars max. Remember TH 9 and TH 10 are going to have an easier loot penalty vs you and your loot penalities are going to be worse.
I think you're ready, just do a few more walls while th is upgrading. DE is a lot easier to get at th8Quote:

You definitely need to max all your defenses before TH8...and I would do walls too. Barb king is tough, along with de troops so those are up to you
katblue is right, shed some light on your walls and barb king. Once you max your base and you upgrade your town hall, you will have a faster chance of maxing the next town hall :)Quote:

There is a big debate about whether you should farm your Dark Elixir now at TH7 or at TH8. I've found that it's much easier to DE farm with my level 5 barbs and archers than it was when they were level 4. I feel that this benefit offsets the downside of giving other TH8s a higher percentage of my DE by upgrading from TH7-8 (not sure if that sentence was very clear).
With your TH outside your walls, you don't get raided all that often for DE anyway, especially if you get all your walls to purple now, which scares most people away. You still get the odd minion/balloon attack, but as long as you are fighting regularly in wars and farming DE a few times a day, you should be able to make up anything you lose.
