3 pekkas
2 golems
2 barbians
10 WBs
rest wizards
1 lightning 2 rage OR 3 rages
The two barbs are for luring out CC troops if need be and to lightning the CC troops.
It's a consistent 2 star if you pull it off right. You just need ot be wary of what type of bases you try to attack. For example, it would be better to attack large spacious bases compared to the ones where everything is compacted and sectioned in.

Use 3 pekkas 1 golem 15 wiz a 10 wallbreakers 10 arch 5 barbs and 1 heal spell two rage.
use barbs on buildings in corner or to test out where the king will go before you drop him. use archers to pick off the last few buildings for the 50% if you need to. use heal spell when your wizards get low on health. use one rage spell in the begining to force your way into the base and use the second one when you get close to the town hall to rush it. i used this and i got to crystal 2 then i ran out of elixir. if you want to save de use 3 pekkas 20 wiz and 15 walbreakers the 10 arch 5 barbs with 2 heal and one rage. use first heal spell when wiz are at less than half health then use rage to rush the hall and use second heal after you get the hall on your wiz again if they get low on health. hope this helped.
I made it to crystal one using gowipe but stopped there due to resources and not being. Able to keep all five builders busy on the push. I'm also a th8. 2 golems 2 pekkas 9 wbs rest wizzards. Drop golems then rage then wbs followed by wizzards to clean outer buildings up for a clear oath for the pekkas and hero. Then rage when cc and hero come out wiz pekkas and hero under rage take them out instantly. Them rage in core where th is. As a th 8 I could 2 star low to mid th 9s. And low lvl 10s. Don't raid th10s with single target inferno
I didn't really use GOWIPE too often as a TH 8 as I never really saw the point (not enough troop spaces and low level golems) but I would go with this composition right now.

For clan castle troops, I would ask for 2 witches and 1 archer, or 6 wizards and 1 archer. Spells should be 3 rage spells because I have found that lightning spells are not mandatory for GOWIPE, the wizards seem to do just fine in taking enemy clan castle troops out.
To start, I would lure out clan castle (and heroes if possible) using a few archers. Drop the rest of the archers along with your clan castle afterwards. They will take down the enemy troops. Right after you drop the clan castle, drop the golems on 1 or 2 sides of the base, distracting as many defenses as you can. Then, drop a few wallbreakers and wizards behind them. Drop 1 rage on each side if attacking from 2 sides. If attacking from 1, drop a single spell on the golem as it starts destroying defenses. By then, the wizards should have taken down a majority of the outside buildings. Drop the PEKKAs and your Barb King then. Let them tear through the base and destroy as much as possible. Make sure the golems and PEKKAs stay in front of the wizards. Drop the 2nd and/or 3rd rage spell when needed (if you haven't used it yet). Should get you 2 or 3 stars on most TH 8s and some TH 9s.
