Have the ability to add a defensive turret to the players town hall which can be upgraded from level 1-6 similar to the Xbow could be switched between ground attack or ground and air with reduced range. Perhaps function like a wizard tower for ground and air and like a mortar for ground only.
ability to add the turret could begin at th 7 and allow maximum level of the turret at th 9.
I tell you now the people who put there th outside in a corner to get free shields would prob hate this lol
I like the idea but I'm a farmer and have been for 3 months so this a bad idea for me but I guess I could just have it there to protect my base like a turret so I like the idea but not good for farmers maybe make it optional to build?
Well as I said the ability to add it and start upgrading at th 7, if the player didn't want to they don't have to build it or upgrade it, so win win, and extra air defense is needed.Quote:

Also to keep farmers happy I suppose if the option to build or not isn't enough for them, make it so it requires loading like the Xbow, maybe elixir for the wizard tower and gold for the mortar, that way it could still be built and upgraded but if it wasn't loaded it would sit during attacks.

Maybe there could be:
Catapult: splash damage, injures every thing in 2x2 space
Ballista: shoots a bolt which just kills all the troops in a line
hells fire: destroys any ground unit which comes within a 5x5 radius, maybe like 20dps.
These could then be upgraded, like ballista could have a fire lightening bolt, catapult could do fire, then skulls, hells fire could change colour.

I think this idea is really good... Then it would make sense to put the town hall and storages both in the center, as they are prtected by the TH Turret :D Farmers can't complain, as having your town hall in the middle will give extra defence rather than wasting space (as a town hall normally does for a farmer), so it will make them recomsider leaving it outside the walls...
If Supercell ever implemented a turret to the th they could even keep it really simple by just adding a mini Xbow to the top which could be switched between ground & air or ground only. To make it slightly different it could shoot out bolts of charged dark elixir bolts, which would be a combination of loading it with elixir and dark elixir.
Yes, this would be awesome. I'd say the mini xbow design would work best. The mini at max lvl would be half the stats of the regular xbow at lvl 1. Nothing major, but an added and slightly helpful addition :)
and to the farmers........can you cry any harder? its pretty pathetic that so many ideas are turned down with a simple line of "im a farmer and dont like this" like farming was an important part that SC wants in the game. Seeing as how they are trying to curb farming already, I think they should keep going and make farming worthless or not allowed. Pretty sad seing a max lvl buildings base at 1200 trophies farming for gold for their walls. Yet loot is WAY better higher up. im doing just fine at 2200 trophies and i dont have max lvl defences.
