Thanks for the input from everyone. Gonna try going with Wiz/Arch for a bit and see how it works.
Depends on how fast you want your clan castle to trigger.
If my clan castle in hard to lure and has, let's say, only one weak spot, I would prefer to have a few archers as well as wizards in my clan castle. The archers are used to delay the deployment of the wizards so they can not be lured as easily.
But if my clan castle is impossible to lure, I'd go with wizards.
If my village is weak against ballonion, I will ask for a dragon.
If you pack yours full of wall breakers it is like you unleash a horde of suicide bombers on the attacker.

Giant's are definitely not a good clan castle troop - unless you will be using them on offense. I like a combination of a lvl 2 witch, along with some archers & wizards. But I'd say that the best overall troops to use in your clan castle is a combo of archers & wizards.
