I'm a newbie at level 30 and townhouse 6 which I will not upgrade until defenses etc are maxed. I'm curious as to your opinion about going for th 9 ASAP if you know how to play, thanks

Its not only that you can not read between the lines, looks like you can not read at all.

Simply put, the offensive advantages of upgrading to TH 8 and 9 early do not provide enough to overcome the loot penalties.

So far nothing you said would even hint at anything proving your point. On top of that you "claim" to be in a position to compare but so are all other TH9 player from which I haven't seen a single one to say upgrading TH asap is a good thing. This topic has been discussed over and over and over again with the same result. Upgrade to TH7 if necessary, max everything @TH7, go to TH8, max everything and only then upgrade to TH9.

I'm sharing PololoP's point of view too. I have seen many villages with TH9 but no strong def at all and many of my friends are complaining about it, some of them have started the game again.

You still won't explain your "simple comment" how rushing to TH9 is "the best thing to do" after being asked numerous times. This is because you know your wrong and you have no sense of game strategy so i dont know how are we reading between the lines of your comment which you can't back up? I'm also convinced you gemed a lot of your base, something about your layout just isn't adding up.

Personally I would upgrade my wizard towers before starting to upgrade my walls to lvl 9... but that's just me.
