The Expected

Hi, I am Loko in game, Leader of The Expected.

The core of our clan are a group of people, who became friends, over years of playing various online games/apps together. COC was the new thing and we jumped in there and had our clan hit the 50 capacity numerous times. However, after a great run in Clan Wars of 16-1, we took a hell of a beating by an opponent and suddenly our members (including Elders and even a Co) saw greener grass and left to join this "powerhouse" force. Obviously this had a small snowball effect and a few others jumped what they saw as a sinking ship....

Well this ship hasn't sunk! We have picked ourselves back up and motored on. Gained members from Global (I know, I know) and with the usual join/leave pattern you find with the randoms from there - we now sit at around the 30 member mark (give or take that hourly rate). Moving on to an 18-2 record in Clan Wars.

Which brings me to here and now with the forum. Worth a try to find a few more, hopefully loyal, members to help build and continue the clan.

We are not some egotistical elite task force kind of deal. We enjoy the game, but we enjoy that we play together. With that said, we do have standards.
~ No Rushed Townhalls! (pref. TH7+)
~ Request what you can make! (ask for Archers and you get all levels of such - ask for "Level 6 Wizards ONLY!" when you are knocking out Lvl2s and you will get Goblins or just kicked)
~ Attack in Clan Wars! (simple)
~ Follow our Clan Wars Strategy! (attack your equal number on War Map with 1st attack - improve 0-1 stars with your 2nd. Impatient members that steal targets, get kicked. However, after 12 hours of Battle Day - we open up 'The Purge', where 2nd attacks can then be used on untaken targets. We still definitely encourage star improvements more than 'target stealing' - it just won't be punished after 12hrs.)

Now, we are an "adult clan" as much as to say there is cussing and humour of that mature nature. However, we do have and allow younger members in, aslong as they understand that bad language will be on view. We will not accept vulgar and distasteful content though! My son is in the clan and he is 13yrs old. The odd F bomb I don't mind but there is certainly a line drawn in what will get you kicked.

We don't have an exact schedule for Clan Wars as such, but we do War at least once a week (weekends) and ask for a general feel from Co's and Elders in midweek possibilities. This is because we - Leaders and Elders - donate to ALL Defense Clan Castles during Clan Wars. Level 3 Dragons / Level 5 Wizards / Level 5 Archers / Level 1 Witches and Valkyries - are the minimum troops to expect and request for Defenses! Taking that in to consideration, when it comes to War Attacks - GO BIG OR GO ELSEWHERE!!! Dragons, Hogs, Wizards, Spells, Heroes and a Castle full of the best you can take at any given time during Battle Day! (That's not to say you turn down multiple offers of Level 2 and 3 Dragons because you are waiting on that 'magical' Level 4 to be donated - Be considerate and grateful!). We watch the Replays, if not Live - anyone going cheap with troops or TownHall Sniping without permission from myself, will see themselves on the end of a 'goodbye' message in their Inbox.

I think that about sums us up and I am very hopeful that this thread can provide us with a few more good, fun, loyal and active members.
