Educate me... TH 9 Whats the best farming line up?

I have to be more efficient with my attacks... currently going at it with 27 max giants, 6 lvl5 wiz, 2 max healers the rest goblins... works well enough, but too pricey, especially if I need to use spells. Someone give me tips for a diff line up with out loseing too many trophies. My base isnt premmie and I have th outside for free shields.... any input is appreciated

People will throw out Barch and BAM on this thread, but for TH9 if you're going for the inside of a base to get the dark elixir etc i believe Giants work better for that. I'm a town hall lvl 7 so i don't know the troop composition but many in my clan use max lvl giants and i've seen them go to town on Max TH9's. Tip: Don't use wall breakers or Healers.

In the raids i've seen they only use one spell, two at the most.

I'll try find info on the raid strategy right now.

The best, easiest, and cheapest army for farming is barching, use more archers than barbs. Use around 80 barbs and 140 archers or take out some archers and use wbs too.

He never said anything about DE, DE rading and gold/elixir rading are almost two complety differnet things

Hitting th is obviously not likely in this senario, so u target bases with th outside to keep trophy count up? Or is 50% achievable?

I wasn't specifically talking about only looting dark elixir, i just used dark elixir as an example of a resource that i hard to get. By 'etc' i meant gold and elixir included, if it's centralised. Getting that loot thats centralised is not possible with Barch unless you face a pathetic base.


Oh, found the army comp. 12 giants, 126 archers, 20 goblins and 7 wall breakers. The rest of the combo is up to you.

50% is achievable in most cases but if not have your cc and heroes just incase. Ive made up to 4 million of each in 2 hours using barch trust me it works

my farming strategy is 8 giants,8 wizards,6-8 wallbeakers,50 goblings,40 archers and rest barbs.2 heal and 2 jump spell,i use only 1 heal and 1 jump per raid .you will get de with this strategy but going to wait 30min to raid again, so i recommend only use it on 1500+ de raids and th8 saving up for the AQ are my favourite.dont go after th9 with level 3 xbows because you will have to use both heroes,all spells and the probability of you getting all the de and gold are pretty low
