Yeah makes sense, attack around it, thats how we did it too but

When we did it on second atack we just brought less air attackers and left it alive but, in other attacks

Wouldnt it effect on clean up, when dropping a Arch queen or any groups of wizards, they would eventually run into lava hound cleaning around the base and then would cause a problem?

Nope because I would have 100% the base before the LAV got anywhere near my kill squad.

Yeah second one was a fail. Panicked too much when i had too little archers.
As a general guideline , Lvl 3 hogs at minimum would be sufficient enough to do this strategy?

Yes, one of our TH9 guys was hitting an enemy th10 in war and found a hot dog in the cc. He had a similar reaction- laughed and then 3 starred the base with hogs while the hot dog chased the hogs around the map doing little if any damage.

Hey Hulk,

Have you experimented much lava/loons/minions?

I have been using the lava/loon/minions in a very similar fashion to your HOLOWIWI

1. Use balloons to break the outside ring (like you would in HOLOWIWI)
2. Kill CC troops
3. Replace the hogs with more balloons + 1 lava hound, and send and heal/rage into core.

Wondering if you have any thoughts on this strategy. Has worked pretty effective on bases like Tsunami/Baconmaker/Ringus/and other common designs.

Would be interested in your thoughts on this strategy. I think your HOLOWIWI will probably work better against bases with max AQ though.

Neither deals with a 25+ AQ tbh. AQ is the most OP defense structure on a base which is why I put so much effort into killing her. People who sleep on AQ either get 3'd because they put her in easy spot or they dont get a 3 star because they didn't focus on killing her.

Im not sure sending more air troops into the biggest AA part of a base is wise but then I have yet to see anyone do anything impressive with Lav's to start with. I haven't even unlocked them thats how unimpressed I have been with what I have seen. Once I see someone do something interesting with them I will look into it.

Thanks for response Hulk. Must admit the highest I've used this strategy is against is lvl 19 AQ.

14 more days for my LVL 5 Hogs to upgrade, can't wait.
