Should i advance to th9 with this base?

OP, you know your situation the best, and it seems like a 2 month vacation is an extremely compelling reason to get it done. I myself upgraded to TH9 at the start of a 2 month vacation (although I was much closer to maxing out). Some tips that I would offer:

- Upgrade those Wiz Towers to max as the TH is working, you'll need them
- Likewise the Air Defenses
- Make sure you get the 40k DE to start on the AQ right after your TH is done
- Farming maxed Lavas in 2 months, without boosting, is gonna be impossible even with 12 hrs a day. (200k avg gold * 4 raids an hr * 12 hrs a day = 9.6M gold a day = 576M Gold in 2 months < 800+M Gold required for Lvl 9 + 10 walls)

i noticed that most people who managed to get more than 50% or reach my storages are through air attacks.be it dragons or healers.these 2 are my main weakness since my ad is at lower lvls.

all your points are valid,except that i forgot to mention that i boosted all the way when farming skulls.
i have enough gems to boost during this farming period i think.
1 question though.how is the loot at th9?
if the average loots at th9 is the same as th8,i think 2 months may be sufficient.
because like i said,it took me 7 days to farm almost 200 skulls.
so i assume i can finish everything in 10 days.
since lego takes twice as much and lava another double(dont mind my english, sorry :P)
so it will take me 20 days to max lego and another 40 for lavas.
as i am writing this,it seems possible,but im not sure whether im willing or not !

Looting at TH9 is not quite as fun as TH8, mostly because there are no more easy TH7s to pick on. Haha.

20 days to max legos while boosting seems reasonable, but Lavas cost 3M each, so that's gonna be 60 days right there :P

Not to mention that you probably would want your builders to be working on defensive upgrades while you are building those walls, and the defensive upgrades in TH9 do cost a bomb.

Your walls are fine to start the upgrade but your defenses are really lacking.

here are a few reasons why i think it wont matter:
1.im not trying to push trophy
2.my main objective here is wall farming,so i will always leave 1 builder free all the time.
3.my gold will always be little in amount.i dont care about elixirs since the only thing i will be needing it for is troop upgrades,which takes days to complete.so if i got raided,there wont be any significant losses to me.(i will finish now all the 4 army camps,this is the only building upgrade that i plan to upgrade since it contributes during my raid)
4.not hunting d.e,if i happen to accumulate a lot of d.e while wall farming,this is just an added bonus.if i lose some,the amount gained will always be greater than the loss.
5.will max defences contribute when im raiding?im not trying to accumulate alot of golds.each time i can afford a wall,a new wall will be built.

and here i thought they cost 2m a piece.oh god now i wont be able to max lava before this break ends.

who knows maybe if i put in a little more extra effort it is possible :D

the only main concern here is the loot for th9.if it's great,then everything is possible.thanks for the info anyway :)

You should definitely go to TH 9 so I can steal all your gold when your done with your walls and saving to upgrade your defense.
