Should i advance to th9 with this base?

Okay so here are a few things you should know.
In a little less than a week,i did the skull walls from the purple.Yeah i know it is not maxed,but im very close to maxing it.im planning to go to th9 after my king is lvl10.so plus minus,around 7-8 days.in the mean time i can upgrade a few more defensive structures.i wont be gemming my way to th9.
i plan to use those gems for troop purposes,offensively.(boost,troop upgrades(mainly archer barb)).
Here are the reasons why i want to go to th9:
1.im on a 2 months-ish holiday break
2.i want to max all my walls to lava,lvl10 i believe?

im a very determined person.i used to play games like ragnarok and maple where grinding for 8 hours just for 1 level is normal,so yeah,i think i can handle wall farming in coc.
the question here is,how hard is it to farm in th9?
if u say i wont be able to survive th9 because my defences are not maxed,here's my reply.
i will be on offence for at least 12 hours everyday(im not kidding)
so my defences wont matter.i will always leave 1 builder to upgrade the walls.
so there will be no gold to be looted.i dont care about the elixirs,during the 1 week farming skulls,my elixir is maxed most of the time.

So i want to know what do u guys think.is this a good idea?or a bad one?
p/s: other than lava walls,im targeting the 1 billion CG.

Get full Skull Walls and start working on Legos then upgrade.

my main troops i use to farm are all maxed out for th8.

It's fine if you want, though your teslas look pretty low (I think I see two lvl 1's lol) and you still have quite a few defensive structures to upgrade. Not sure why you spent so much on walls when you could have easily maxed quite a few more defenses (and especially wiz towers as splash should always be a priority). Air defense should also be upgraded to at least lvl 5 minimum (really 6) and Archer towers at least on round to lvl 9.

But if your core troops are maxed and you're dying to go up to TH9, then go on ahead. Lots of fun new toys but still alot to upgrade (and especially if you're falling behind on TH8 upgrades).

I think it's less important to max 8 than 7 and 9 (except walls and heroes for 9), cause imo I like TH9 farming a lot better than 8. I think you could upgrade and would be fine.

To be noted, maxing the wise I think all legos and lvl 20 heroes is the way to go.

Makes sense. But honestly purp is good enough moving into TH9 as both purple and skull still take the same amount of lvl 5 wb's to break....and all that gold could've had you maxed defensively :cool:

Anyway, as I said your call. Upgrade now if you want. Not going to hurt you any if your core troops are upgraded and you can efficiently farm.

upgrade if you want, better work on those ATs and teslas

The main reason bases look like this with good wall upgrades and lower defenses is that the builders cannot catch up with the gold raided, and not because gold for defenses are being channeled toward walls.

OP, you know your situation the best, and it seems like a 2 month vacation is an extremely compelling reason to get it done. I myself upgraded to TH9 at the start of a 2 month vacation (although I was much closer to maxing out). Some tips that I would offer:

- Upgrade those Wiz Towers to max as the TH is working, you'll need them
- Likewise the Air Defenses
- Make sure you get the 40k DE to start on the AQ right after your TH is done
- Farming maxed Lavas in 2 months, without boosting, is gonna be impossible even with 12 hrs a day. (200k avg gold * 4 raids an hr * 12 hrs a day = 9.6M gold a day = 576M Gold in 2 months < 800+M Gold required for Lvl 9 + 10 walls)
