Broader Ladders and Ranking Systems?

Supercell,

While the urge to farm loot, upgrade, and have fun blowing things up is a driver for many casual players to play, many moderate to hardcore fans play for the challenge and competition. Unfortunately, the ranking system is very limited, capping off the "ladder" with only the top 200 players. I would very much like to see how I rank up to others in the world and my country. Therefore, I request:

1. Can expanded ladders be added to cover trophy ranking of ALL players with a lookup feature?
2. Can additional rating features be added beyond trophy count? One example might be "base power score"

I think this would add more fun to the game by allow players to better measure where they stack up, other than the nebulous league color they bear

I don't see that it is ruled-out, but this isn't the first time I've seen a post like this.

Great idea though, I would like this!

What were some of the responses to the posts? I would really think an expanded ranking system would be fun for competition and measurement
