I take 8 to 10 while barching to help me get to DE storage buried in the core. I have seen people use rage spells for this, but i can train a lot of WBs for the cost of one rage spell.
Definitely useful with barching. Gives more options to go after stores 1-2 layers deep instead of being limited to only collectors or stores on the edges. One thing is to use them correctly with other troops engaged so they are not picked off. Also as they level, they can take shots from AT and WT to be able to withstand damage while running up to the wall. With a rage, can easily get within multiple layers of a base.
My barch army is 72 arch, 72 barb, 12 wb, 32 gobs. Gives an easy build and cooks quick enough for my purposes of balancing gains over time.
sure i always keep 6 wbs in my barch army. Yea they take some time to train but worth it.
Anything that does 40x damage to something is sure OP according to me..especially walls because somehow my other troops dont like to attack through walls ;). A ground attacker would fail almost all the time if he fails to open the compartments he wants to with his wallbreakers
Wall breakers are OK, but normally get killed before they reach a wall, use the jump spell or power spell with your giants, works every time.
You absolutely need wallbreakers for the higher level walls 8-11 but 6-7 walls are easy to break down especially with the new AI where they work together with one wall.
