Take builders to war!

Dropping trophy count to gain recourses is not a bad idea...but with that said you could put a bottom line on when builders can be used...so let's say attacker has to have gold shield. And 1 hour is way to short 12 hours to 2 days is reasonable for the amount of potential gems. And using builders is a gamble because curtains obstacles may have no gems in them...one builder per attack.".limit gems stolen per week to 50

That'll take the purpose of people buying them with real money. The creators will lose money rather than gain, that's the whole point of games like these if they can't gain they wont do.

Perhaps the dumbest idea ever. Not thought through at all, even with all of the obvious feedback.

No new player would EVER get to keep their gems.
I would drop to 0 trophies and use healers (so the builders can't die!) and builders to mine ALL of the gems from new players that I could.

No new player would ever get to keep their gems, they would all go to players that wanted gems.

The fact that you have to keep adding modifications to your idea pretty much PROVES that it's a terrible idea.
