The leader created the clan doesn't mean he owns it, people put a lot of effort into their clans and then it gets abused by a leader who has no idea and it can ruin the game for up to another 49 players. Most of them wouldn't want to move on plus some will just stop playing then it wouldn't be a good as a game we've got now.
Chiefjosh how is this idea stupid?
And as for the new clans problem, there could be a player limit you need so many player in the clan to call for a vote of no confidence
This will simply be abused by trolls, get 10/15 guys to join a clan then get them all to vote in a new leader....That will happen. people will go around attacking new clans and posting vids on youtube of how they stole a clan.
It will never happen....check out my post on micro managing a clan, goes into a lot of detail on stuff id like to see but know will never happen.

And guys valid point about the trolls, you can work around them by you've gotta be a member of the clan to be able to use the no confidence vote, or even only elders and Are able to use this feature.

Just make a new clan,everyone will eventually leave because if the horrid leadership. I am not a leader, I follow and help, but I am becoming more of one, and I see players have left clans because of leaders. So I say no. Good idea tho
I say no to this idea because the leader of the clan has to pay what a 40K gold fee to creat the clan. it wouldnt be right for the leader to lose that. unless the new voted leader pays the old leader the fee back. that would be the only way i would see this be in affect
