vote of no confidence

There are a lot of games that die out due to leaders of their group/clan/team become inactive or abuse their position as leader, eventually those members stop playing due to the leader so that has a knock on effect and the game dies.

If there is a vote of no confidence Button, where the majority of the members click it within a certain time of each other there cold be a vote on choosing a new leader where by no1 can vote for themselves and the new leader will need a majority vote. It could be made easier that only certain members can be voted in if they were nominated for leadership by other members or only co-leaders could be voted in, in the event of a vote.

What do you think guys?

The new leader needs a majority vote, so since everyone cant vote for themselves, even if they just WANTED to be leader, it wouldnt happen, they would need to have the support of most of the members.
I do like this idea, though obviously, like most ideas, it can be abused. Also it needs to be anonymous and hidden or the leader would just kick whoever votes against.

From what i remember about history, clans were not democratic.

Leave and make a new clan, why should the entire clan move just cause of one person?

You'll need a majority vote and not be able to vote for yourself so it would be difficult to abuse this tool, you'll need backing of most The other members to even have a vote of no confidence ruling.

It'd help the game by keeping it's players people stop playing because of what happens in a clan.

You could abuse the ♥♥♥♥ out of this against the leader of every new clan. That aside, the reason why the entire clan should move because of one person, is because that one person is the leader. Whoever is the leader of the clan effectively "owns" that clan (technically SC owns it...but yeah).

No, it doesn't seem right, sure ur proposal is too make sure no one abuses their leadership roles, but its not in the right way, creating a democracy, its a clan not a government, instead i made a thread about solving ur problem, look into my profile and find the thread.
