Im not sure if its just my clan.... but every single war we enter the opposite team uses dragons for almost all the attacks... I swear supercell talked about balancing the game... Nurfed hogs... (that people paid money or spent time maxing out).... and yet if someone drops all dragons on 1 spot of the map they can easily 2 or 3 star a base....
War is getting boring once again...
Maybe its just me but what are other peoples opinions on this ?
war is awesome i am one of those who use all dragon raids in war but i dont buy gems never have
War would be awesome if it took some skill to perform attacks ... but looking at replays most of these dragons attacks involve absolutely no skills ... they just drop all dragons on 1 side and rage or heal them as they burn through a base...Quote:

My clan has a ton of TH 7 (of which i am one) and at TH 7 you only get 2 AD's and they max at lvl 5. We usually go against TH 8 clans and get wrecked by dragons. its sad...

That's right Mass dragon is real strong although need to pick your bases right. Use hogs and heros to take out at least 2 exposing AD.

Yes, I agree, dragons have become the default troop for lots of TH8's and most TH7's to use in war.
However, if a TH8 goes against a TH7 in war, there is very little the TH7 guy can do to defend his base from a 3 star IF the TH8 knows what he's doing, whether it be hogs, drags, or even a good giant wiz arch combo. Obviously going GoWiPe on TH7 is overkill, but hey, I won't stop my guys from doing it :)
Victory is your primary goal, so use whatever tools you have at your disposal.
Maybe if everyone start complaining about it Supercell will buff the AD's or air bombs and players will start using something else.

To 3 star a TH8 needs some skill and know-how. As a previous TH8...if I attacked a TH7 with dragons, that would be a really sad and depressing day and should hang my head down in shame. As a TH8 with lvl 3 dragons, I would carefully attack max TH8s and some TH9s. They are effective, but become a lot less effective at the TH9 and 10 levels.
Dragon attacks dont always work either. I've seen attacks epically fail, so its not automatic. Again, there is a bit of strategy involved with higher gameplay. Spell placement becomes an art form. It is also VERY expensive, but worth it. I say change nothing and continue to refine their usage.
drags do take skill, well at high th9 they do, some people use rage some use heal it depends on the user, but it does take skill as i know a few people in my clan who cant raid with dragons to save their lives but i can 2 star a th9 with drags because i have a lot of experience with them, they do take skill. Hogs didn't take skill! people just dropped them in places where there aren't at 2x2 gaps hoping for no double bombs and they just plopped down some heals no and then, that was easy. Drags aren't as you need to make sure they go to the center of the base and not around the edge.
I have a few in my clan who can be 3 starred w drags but they are th7. bring lightnings and drags yea 3 starred. we just beat a clan who almost all of them went all drag. we spanked them. they got 0 stars 10 on up maybe 1 here n there when they went for clean up from 1-3 hitting 6-10. Only my th7s use drags, the rest go hogs w wiz/arch king to clean, or gowiwi/gowipe/goho...golaloon. I have an occasional person try me with all drags and they always get shut down.
