Anyone facing this issue before? Replays "expiring" sooner than expected.

If i am not wrong, replays only expire after 4 days, -delete info regarding zach, forgotten source-

Take a look at the screenshot below


1) The most bottom's replay button disappear less than 24 hrs.
2) clicking on the middle's replay button shows an error that replay is no longer available.

To clarify, the error of "REPLAY IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE" happened when I click the "Replay" button of the middle replay

Heck, didnt even give me 24hrs to record it down and store it..
So irritating, that replay was hilarious, 2 rage just to get to my de storage. What a shame i cant share it already :(

Cannot watch some replays, i just never saw them!!!

I didn't know that replays expire after 4 days, so that wasn't from me.


Unless there was a maintainence break between the attacks, though, I don't understand why it isn't there. I know it saves the last 4 replays, though, so is the one before that still there?

Oh okay, pardon my mistake. Edited first post.

Yeah if there was maintainence break, all replays will be wipe out.
But in the past 24 hours, there wasnt even 1..

so frustrating :(

well, someone using a healer with troops that are one-shot (archers) probably wouldn't make for a very interesting replay.

i can try to give you a summary, though.

1. archers pick off buildings out of defense range
2. archers bunch up at a wall, get wiped by mortars while healer does nothing
3. archer tower kills healer

I was referring to the middle replay if you read carefully enough.

And whether the replay was interesting or not was besides the point.. the point was that the replay freaking expired less than 24 hours.. :mad: god.. so irritating.

I thought it just saved the last five replays?

Mine's always done the last 4, but yea I always assumed it was based on the quantity of replays not the actual time since the attack.

Haven't ever seen that, if the button is available I can always see the replay. Maybe some kind of connection/sync issue?

Thats some interesting info.. maybe it was "last 4 replays" instead of "last 4 days" regarding the info that I've mis-heard.

I thought too that maintenance wipes out all replays before but no, I remember this one maintenance when nothing seemed to have been fixed (I thought the chat timestamp was but then it turned out it wasn't) and the replays were still available after. I'm sure of that because I did not find anything fixed and found it odd that my replays were still viewable.

i don't know how long I've had some replays that were not available. There are times I'd wake up with 7 raids against me and only the most recent 3 are available. It's not a recent issue I've encountered, been going on for the longest I can remember at least for me.

Sorry, I meant 4 replays. I can't remember where I read it, I think it may have been in a coc FAQ somewhere.

Weird... I only have the last four available as well, but I swear I remember three days worth at one point... Did that change with the last update?

Okay, just woke up. received 2 attacks last night, and true enough, only last 4 replays are available only..

And thats running a farming base man.

Sure sucks if I am running a trophy base, with more than 4 raids on my base once I log out, confirm can't view replays for the earlier attacks.

Supercell, can do something about it ?

Or is the game file size getting too big with the recent updates, hence you move to reduce replays stored ?

I also have 4.

Only saving the last 4 replays is nothing new. Been like that since I started playing this game (November)

It's been a while that I can watch only 4 replays max. There is no replay button at the 5th replay.

Right after maintenance break, all replay button always become unavailable.

I believe that keeping more replays may affect the server stability. And they clear some server memory during maintenance break.

I scrolled down as I wanted to show the 6th slot expiring before 24 hour as well. :p

jUN! , there are a few reasons, it could be a very quick maintenance break that goes unnotice.

anyway, its related to the server and what they store, so they might just do some cleaning up, free more space etc. could happen to a certain number of players, Who knows there might be a certain increase of traffics in certain areas. Hence old ones had to go.

Ok I'm currently in sub200 and got attacked 4 times so far. I have 5 replays available. The last one from half a day ago is still viewable atm.
