Downgrade option for premies

Sometimes good guys want to join my clan... Unfortunately, they got a gift card and decided to upgrade, e.g., to TH10.
They don't stay long for two reasons... I boot them because mess up war matching (I think) and because the game is extremely frustrating for folks with L9/10 townhalls and L5 canons/archer towers.

I don't know how supercell would accomplish it, but I know some players would happily spend a few thousand gems to back out of their premie TH. (Spending gems to upgrade a premie base isn't worth it to a player whose experiencing isn't up to battling other TH9/10s)

i dont think supercell has any obligation to help premies. I do, however, think it would be in their financial interest to keep these people in the game by allowing them to back out of their mistakes for fee.

On the other hand, if supercell *did* want to prevent extreme premies, perhaps they could tie Townhall levels to progress in the goblin campaign. If you can't finish the campaign, I'm not sure you have any business owning a level 10 Townhall

They made the mistake, they should pay for the price. Patience has its perks.

I actually like this idea. It would keep people in the game more. I have had several people simply open an alt and start over then eventually ditch their main. Same thing I guess :rolleyes:, just minus the gems.
