I have a shield and I'm getting attacked - that is not supposed to happen is it?

I'm day 4 into the game and I thought that my 12 hour shield meant that I couldn't be attacked, yet I've been attacked 4 times since that "shield" went up - is this a bug I should report or am I missing something??

A few times my defense has "won" and I'm up in trophies I think, but something feels off here.

Help??

You probably aren't under a shield and you just think you are. If you attack, then your shield goes away.

Did you attack anyone while your shield is active?

It shows 11hr 16min up top. and when I hit my attack button it warns me that my shield will be lost if I attack. Makes no sense at all that I've been attacked a bunch...

edit: just watched the replay and it even shows the little tombstones from the first battle that gave me the shield...something is off - but I'll watch it tonight and now that I've posted this we'll have a point of reference if I'm attacked in the next 11 hours.

Maybe you got <40%'ed a few times?

there were several <40% before someone got 67%...there was a 55% about 12.5 hours ago and then several 30% and unders before the 67% -so the first shield (from a 55%) must have expired earlier than I thought. (that is the only way it makes sense). No attacks since the start of the post though so I think its holding.
