Hey guys, just unlocked PEKKA and I really wanna try GiWiPe out in my upcoming war. What army count do you guys use? Any effective tips to maximize efficiency?
Also suppose I should mention that I'm TH8 with 200 troop count.
Thank you!

I would opt for Golems in place for the Giants. Golems have more staying power and aren't affected by spring traps which can easily ruin a GiWiPe raid.
If you opt for Giants then I would do:
3 pekkas
10-12 giants
2 barbs
3 archers
10 WBs
rest wizards
1 lightning / 2 rage
OR
3 rages
I run it with 2 golems in place of the 10-12 giants. I've had the most success with that composition.

To maximize efficiency:
Your favorite type of bases would be large open space bases. Compact, tight bases are better suited for Hogs.
Attack from the weakest side -> send in 2 areas to distract defenses -> send in WBs between the giants to attack the first layer of the base. -> Use wizards to clear out the side buildings -> drop Pekkas -> drop WBs -> drop heroes / CC troops -> Rage spell when needed -> CC troops come out, lightning spell or rage on them.
It's a really consistent 2 star on other TH 8 bases and even on some TH 9. It's quite hard to get the 3 star though.
Only reason I'm using giants over golems is because I don't have golems yet :/ I'm about a week into TH8
You should definitely opt to unlock golems if you have a chance. They definitely have the better staying power compared to giants. Having the titanic HP along with not being affected my spring traps and splitting into two when destroyed makes them beefy.
Also, I edited my earlier post on how to go about the strategy. :)
Good luck! The GiWiPe/GoWiPe is, in my opinion, one of the most fun strategies to play with. For practice, I suggest doing some overnight cooking and revenge some decent bases. It takes a while to get use to but it is one of the most consistent 2 stars in CW :)
Thanks for the info man, much appareciated
1 Jump (send big units toward TH)
1 Lightining (cc troups)
1 Rage or 2 (hype troups in key points)
1 Heal or 0 (if you want you giants to last more while wizards take down surrounding structures)
I'd go for
_18 giants (send em as 3 groups of 6 just acting like as if 6 of them are equal to a Golem)
_6-12 wallbreakers (depending how effective can your jump be, count how many walls do you have to break to create 3 different paths for the 3 groups of giants, you'll be using just a lil' cause jump does the job inside for 1 or often 2 walls).
_2-5 archers (to net a 50% at thend)
_5-20 barbarians or archers
_16-24 wizards
_2 pekkas (send 'em separatedly, the last one towards the TH with heroes).
