glad to help you :)
Hope this will help you while Barching
- Barbs are meat shield; they take damage while archers deal damage out.
- Where there are barbs, there are archers. You always lay them down together. A line of barbs. A line of archers.
- Troop deployment speed. I like using two fingers to deploy barbs and archers. It just works out better for some reason. This way, your line of deployed troops is thick.
- Lines! Barch isn't really a 'drop a group here, drop a group there' kind of strategy. When you deploy you cover a whole side of a base in a line. This spreads the splash damage out, so you don't really have 30 archers die from 1 mortar shot. It also overloads point defenses.
- Have a goal. Most bases have 4 or more sides, so unless you are strictly hitting collectors outside the walls, you're not going to have enough troops to do a full surround of the base AND breach its walls for the inside loot. This means you need to prioritize. Pick 1 or 2 sides that have the resources you want and hammer them hard.
- On breaching walls. The trick lies in spreading the splash damage by keeping barbs spread along the side of the wall you're trying to get into. Deploy archers behind the barb line to damage defenses near where you're trying to break into. Dump barbs 10 at a time in a 1 finger clump where you're trying break in. This should get you through the first layer. After that, its a matter of flooding barbs and archers in the hole when needed to keep them pushing to where you are trying to get to.
