Townhall 9 or not.

I currently have 85 more level 7 walls. It would cost me 42.5 million to upgrade those remaining walls. If I can farm at least 3.5 million gold a day, it'll take roughly 12 days to max my last remaining walls, and I would be a maxed Townhall 8 with the exception of 3 level 9 barracks and 3 level 4 bombs. I currently have 40k dark elixir, so I should be able to buy the Archer Queen immediately after 10 days.

Besides this, I also have a Pekka to upgrade and pretty much all the DE troop upgrades. I don't really feel like spending 12 more days at Townhall 8 just to farm for walls and bombs. At the same time, I'm also running out of things my builders can do, and I feel like I'm wasting precious builder time. What do you guys think I should do?

I'd just upgrade. what's left to do won't make much / any difference if you don't wait.

Go for TH9, your defenses definitely are ready and those Skull walls new something to match with! ;)

I am pretty much the same situation a you.. Except my walls were just all maxed to lv 7.

From what I see, lv 7 should be alright to start off at TH9, so I gonna upgrade TH soon.. Else, its like wasting builders idling around..

Minions are a great help when farming on TH9, but it depends on you

You really need go to th10 if you ask me, th9 just is not enough when u get 50% or more raided by all damn th10.. and its fun to have 3 xbows and 2 inferno towers.. im tempted just gemming myself to that... but for now i dont care as i dont play as much as before.. even got kicked from a clan i was long in i have more fun in boom beach for now.

You should definately get lvl7 walls. Bombs don't really matter. While you farm walls you should really get de troops up.

I can see your point. I might just upgrade all the TH9 defenses, and then go straight to Townhall 10, ignoring the walls.

Ignoring the walls will just make the wall grind even more tedious later on. at some point you are going to want to do them and I am trying to get all my skulls at th9 now and it is miserable since I didn't max th8 walls.
