Possible Chat Improvment?
Although this may just be a small idea in theory, I believe that it could possibly improve the user interface. As you probably have noticed, when the chat window is closed, any update to the clan chat is indicated by a red icon, whether it be a number or exclamation point. That tiny detail negates the need to constantly check the chat if you perfer it closed but expect something to happen. Now, what if the same icon could be implemented into global chat? While browsing global the chat update icon could appear on the clan tab at top. This could avoid needless time swapping back and forth between tabs to see if something new might have happened. While this could easily be overlooked by most players, it would probably help newer clans. While inviting new members through global. Swapping between tabs can become a tiresome act, no matter how small it may seem. In my clans I try to be friendly and say hi to people when they join, however, occasionally someone may join without notice. I have once gone ten minutes in global without noticing a new member try to talk to me, and when building a new clan that can become a problem. Now I may be the only person who thinks this might be usefulll, but I have looked in the lists and have searched threads and I have not seen this posted anywhere, so I thought why not try the idea out.
