Opting Out of War Option: Toggle Button (for your clan members who don't want to war)

The proposal: Add a 'toggle' button for each member in a clan---"In war" or "Out of war" (similar to the sound off or on toggle option in settings). When a clan war search is started and a clan member is toggled to "out of war," that member will not be included in the matching of warring participants.

The issue: Some members of your clan may not be able to war, or want to war at that time, or constantly be in war. This creates potential ongoing strife amongst clan members. And as for many clans that consist in real-life friends, asking members to leave or insisting they attack anyway is a rather sour 'solution'. (They might otherwise be excellent clan members and fun to have in the clan. My clan is made up of all great people and friends. And we are 44-4, but 3 of the 4 losses are due to lack of participation from some members who were either on vacation, wanted to farm, or got drained from constant warring.)

I think the proposed toggle button will provide a resolution, making everybody happy. What do you all think?!

Please consider this request. We have lost two long time players because they don't feel they contribute enough to the wars...and we are only 13 people. Thanks!

Another good reason! I've had to convince two good friends to stay in the clan who wanted leave for the very same reason. Thanks for the input :)

Yes, I do want this feature. But this is suggested a lot, and I won't answer any questions as to why Supercell haven't implemented this despite the popularity of the idea, as I am not a staff member.

Ah, good call. I see the importance of consolidating support for a particular idea by way of endorsing existing threads. While I am relatively new to these forums, I should have known better to perform a more thorough search (I only did a quick search for "opting out"). Thanks for the explicit heads up, I appreciate it. The talk of fissioning within my own clan is causing growing unrest, so I do hope they implement this feature soon (thanks, Supercell for all the great work!).
