Currently if you don't want to participate in a CW you have to leave the clan before a Co-leader searches for a clan to war against. In my clan we have a donation rule and because of the fact I have to leave every 2 days causes problems for me as I then can't keep my donations and requested troops as to how it should be for my clan.
Therefore I'm requesting SC to create a different button for CW so that we can somehow choose whether or not to participate in the war without leaving the clan.
Why wouldn't you want to participate? It is a great learning experience for raiding and developing. Its also a great way to build clan cohesion and camaraderie. If this is not the goal, maybe you need to go to a farming only clan.Quote:

The reason I don't want to participate in CW is because I'm farming for DE for my heroes I always have 1 hero upgrading and sometime have both upgrading, because of this in CW I'm at a huge disadvantage and it's impossible for me to 2 star bases which is always our clan goal in CW. Also because of CW I lose over 3 hours worth of farming text by creating big armies and waiting for spells etc.Quote:

Try managing your CW attacks differently. I am also almost always upgrading one of my heroes at any given time, you just have to learn to adapt and choose a lower rank to attack so that you can still get that 2-star your clan requires. It can be managed, and you should try. I know what you mean about CW putting a dent into farming, but if you time your attacks right, it isn't so terribly intrusive. boosting spells helps just before/after CW attacks too if you can do so.Quote:

I like to do my first attack before bed or first thing when I wake up, this works well for building large armies and having all spells ready. As for the second attack I try to use it strategically in the dying seconds of CW, so yes, that can often put a dent in my farming progress since we usually start/end our wars in the middle of the evening. Anyway, give it a try, you can make farming and CW work for you still. Just needs a few gems for boosts at times, or creative use of attacking times.
This is a problem for me. In a clan still recruitng, I'll take anyone anytime. And I don't want a bunch of lvl 20- in war, to be able to select what players are in war would be great
I have always read about the stickies mentioning this as a suggestion that have been requested many times. Where is this sticky? I have been looking at the one on top of the page and there are no mention of this suggestion. Would you please provide a link? I would like this feature and perhaps vote on it if possible.Quote:
