I quite raid a good amount now a days not too high..
So should i upgrade my def first or go for the walls. I am quite confused...
Last week i raided a lot so did my walls...
I am a th8.. Lvl75..
It would be great if u can suggest me something..

Defenses have priority, but if you can...knock out a few walls pieces here and there so it is not overwhelming when you finally have the ability. At TH8, there are just too many walls, so the minimum level of walls you should have is level 7. Piecemeal lvl 8 walls when you can. Remember, walls dont shoot back and as a TH8, you will see many more air attacks anyway.Quote:

Do both :) if you do your walls first then your not minamizing the amount of time that you will be on your th level but if you do walls later then it will get bored. Raid first to upgrade a defense and then spend alittle on walls, defense then walls, always keep it mixed.
Yes, definitely try to do both.
I have been upgrading my troops so in order to keep down gold I spend it on walls to make myself look less attractive.
Once troops are upgraded I let me gold stores build back up and focus on defence.
I have always kept 1 worker free for just walls. Helps keep gold level down while other workers are tied up and you are saving elixer. Also makes me feel guilty so I am always gettin another wall done. Maxed TH 9 with all skull walls or higher now.
What I do is before I have a free builder I fill my storages (shouldn't take you more than 1 day, maximum 2) and then I dump the spare gold on walls.
So if for example I want to upgrade a mortar to level 7 (costs 3.2m gold), I can get 1 wall level 9 and 1 wall level 10 (or 4 level 9 walls).
That's way I got 40 level 9 and 22 level 10 walls in around 1.5 months as a th9 without a free builder for more than few minutes (to remove some decorations).
If you are a th8 it will be even easier for you since each upgrade cost less and walls cost less.
Defense is the best bang for your bucks!
High level defense will hold off most attacks.
High level walls will scare off many attacks. But if you have enough loot someone with enough WB will blast right through them.
Has anyone ever cut through a TH9 base with lvl 9-10 walls but lvl 6-8 defenses? I have, its surprisingly easy.
Defenses > walls. (Trust me I have both :p)

What I do is well it really depends how much builders you got. Now a days most people got 3 - 5 builders. So if you do upgrade 2 defences for 3 builders. 3 defences for 4 builders. and 4 defences with 5 builders. While the time you have left and your defences are upgrading with the one builder your gonna farm and upgrade walls. Anyways yaah. Hope this helped.
