You should be able to make your own avatar that is In the top left corner of your profile. You can customize hair color, outfit, face

Well it does sound like a bit of fun... But really what would be the point?

That would be too hard on supercell's servers. This is also the reason that they ruled out personalized clan flags.

Supercell have not actually ruled it out, they have ruled out custom clan symbols, not custom flags. Please re-check the stickies.

Also, I agree, this would kill servers, and serves no real purpose than to entertain yourself lightly while playing this.
