When do you send out your CC troops?

When you are in the middle of your session of raiding other villages, you have the option of unleashing your clanmates' donated troops for that extra firepower of more units on your attack. The thing is, when is it a good time to unleash them for you guys?

Of course, it depends on which troops you recieve and use in your clan castle.


Do you release them...

1) At the beginning of the battle to make them the focus of defenses while you have your large army take care of everything else?

2) In the middle of a battle to give support to your army?

3) Near the end as an emergency where you'll think you'll lose a battle and attempt a last-ditch effort to possibly save yourself or die trying?

4) When your opponent's CC reinforcement troops start coming out to counter them and make this a "Clash of Clans"?


You can add your own reasons too if you want!


I'm a 3 myself because I want to reserve them for a battle where I'm might be stopped at 48% and lose if I don't send anything else right away. :eek:

Sometimes to take out CC's, sometimes when I need a couple more troops to finish raiding, sometimes just for the heck of it :D

It depends on what i have in it. I get a lot of dragons and pekka's in my clan as well as archers. If it's archers I wait until i breach the outer walls to release them somewhere for support if needed. If it's a drag I calculate the attack towards a air defence and once it's taken out or about to be I release the dragon. Pekka is much like the archers, I only release her when the outer wall is breached as well as outer buildings so she doesn't run off from the action.

Either 1 or 2

Although I really don't use much CC troops, I usually use them as defense on the village.

#3 doesn't really work for me as a farmer, because they come out of the CC in single file (usually at the boundary of the battlefield). They get pick off one at a time.

i'm with axe on this one - used to use it offensively alot but now i dont touch unless it's there's like 200k resources missed and i can get most with cc.

Well it depends, various situations..I dont use it often. Basically you release troops when you feel the need :cool:, practice makes perfect.

Depend on situation. But the concept is to use them when the main force is not enough to get what I want.

For me they are really a mop up troops to get that last few % if I need the cups or the last gold store if possible, but I only tend to use it once in every dozen or so raids really.
