Clan Hot Sauce - Adult, Farm/War, Balanced Play, Th7+
Clan Hot Sauce’s membership is formed from a diverse mix of adults, including programmers, veterans, teachers, college students, parents, and retirees. The core of this group is tight-knit, motivated, and open to new ideas. Free communication and a good exchange of ideas are so important that we’ve even set up a website with an online forum so that discussions of clan matters, strategies, and wars are not lost like they are in game.
Clan Wars and Farming
We love the addition of clan wars to the game because it provides new opportunities for strategic play and fosters a stronger sense of community in the clan. However, we also believe that farming has an important role to play for finding success in wars, so we schedule time for both. Clan Hot Sauce goes to war once a week, from Friday to Sunday. This allows our members to farm on a schedule that doesn’t conflict with weekly responsibilities and to also devote the time necessary to fully participate in the war on the weekend.
Wars in Clan Hot Sauce are moderately structured to help prevent a chaotic free-for-all.
- All members should take some care in planning a strong war base.
- All members should set a war clan castle message to indicate what is preferred for defenses.
- Only the most upgraded members should fill war clan castles as per member requests in order to get the highest troops available to the clan.
- Donations of archers or wizards should be level 5+, and dragons level 2+.
- First targets should be posted on the forums prior to attacking, and calls are to be respected.
- 100% participation is required**
** As adults, we know that some weekends are busier than others. Trips, weddings, holidays, and the like sometimes need to take priority over Clash of Clans. Any member who anticipates that he or she will not be able to attack in a war should pass a message to an officer or post in the forums that he or she will be busy over the weekend. Then, before the war, the person will need to step out of the clan and rejoin again after their commitment is over. The member’s spot WILL BE SAVED and there should be zero issues with rejoining the clan at the end of the war.
Recruiting Standards
First and foremost, we are looking for adults who enjoy playing the game well. This means that he or she likes to discuss strategy, learn from replays, and do a little bit of research now and again. We encourage all members to avoid rushing town hall upgrades and strongly favor reaching the caps for each town hall before progressing on to the next. General minimum requirements are as follows:
- Mid to late town hall 7
- Level 45
