New Dark Elixir Troop: Bogman
Before you Read! Make sure to vote in the poll and if you vote "probably not" or "No" Please comment what you think is wrong with the troop so I can hear your input.
Cost per troop: 150 DE (increases by 15 per level max level 4)
Becomes available at TH10 Dark Barracks level 7: 3,750,000 Elixir to upgrade
Can upgrade to level 2 in laboratory level 7 (not sure of good price 80-100k DE maybe?) Level 3 and 4 upgrades unlock at lab level 8
Damage (DPS): 30 (45 when maxed)
Damage type: ground and air single target (attacks by throwing corrosive muck balls)
Range: slightly smaller than archers, equal to wizards.
Movement speed:14
Health: 600 (+50 every level, max 800)
Housing space: 12
Secondaries:
#1: Takes half damage from single target defenses and double damage from splash defenses
#2: When hit by splash damage droplets of goo are blown off and do corrosive damage to surrounding structures and enemy troops in a 4x4 radius (10 per second 16 when maxed lasts for 8 seconds, damage does not stack but 8 second timer resets every time a structure is hit)
Description: These insidious creatures are a byproduct of dark elixir seeping into the muck of swamps and bogs.
Physical appearance: A large, roughly man shaped mixture of dark elixir and muck, dark in appearance with ripples continuously flowing down its body pooling at its feet and dripping from its hands. Has a wide oval shaped mouth with strands going from top to bottom and smaller holes for it's eyes with indigo dots deep inside.
Attachment 54744
Lore: Said to be a creature brought about by the meddling of witches with dark elixir and it's effects on inorganic substances. These creatures are particularly strong against arrows and cannons which seem to serve no purpose but to get lodged in their flowing mass, splash defenses have proven the most effective however with their unique ability to blast off large chunks of the heinous creatures but watch out! These globs are nearly as deadly as the creatures themselves!
Best troop idea I have seen
I really like your idea with the splash damage
A suggestion and plea for help
I recommend slightly lowering the health, seeing as single damage does so little to it. If it kept the 800 it you could make a wall of them on one side of the base and the splash couldnt keep up with their reign of terror. Maybe 600? Its still a great idea and supercell must implement it or else i go on strike from clash. Also how do i vote on the poll? I cant figure it out!
I like the original art no offense asmdus88
I thought that normal bombs would deal double damage but spray a bit of the bogman onto nearby buildings causing them to take like 5 dps if affected. For giant bombs maybe they should split the troop in half and each half has about a third of the strength of the original because much of its mass will be lost to splattering on nearby buildings and corroding them. So essentially since splash damage TURRETS deal special damage why not splash damage TRAPS
Hmm, not sure that would be such a good idea.

It's an interesting idea although with the splash damage traps already doing double damage it would make this troop almost useless, a maxed giant bomb can already reduce this troop to less than half of its total health, having them weaken it as well would be way too much in my opinion, imagine having a bunch of these step on one and suddenly they're all 60% weaker and have had their health reduced to less than half of its original value, it would make it not even worthwhile to use them in a raid.
Thanks for the thoughts though :D
Thanks for the support dude!

Better than a golem? lol I don't think it will generally be better, however in certain situations I do believe it would be more useful. Thanks for the support though :)
