I'm a townhall 8. I have found barely any loot I have tried gold 3 and silver 1 and still haven't found any. I see some people get up to 2 million a hour. Please help.

Just keep "nexting" until you find a person who has a lot of loot to steal.
Try Gold 2, I occasionally use a TH8 account and find lots of loaded TH8-TH9 bases around there, with a bit of searching, mostly big collector raids.

My best finds are Gold 3-2
2 nights ago got over 10mil. Raided for hours and hours.. but still... Just keep hitting next
Loot always is a matter of luck. If you can't find any loot, go higher or go lower.

Silver 1 and gold 3 are the worst places to go to find loot. I was making around 600k an hour when I was in gold 1 yesterday. I just moved to crystal 3 today and it's not too bad.
Gold III has been good to me as a nearly maxed out TH8. Agree with others that you have to be patient, and have a bit of luck (I've hit some bases for 700k before using pure archers).
Silver two is where it's at for me as a TH 7
I find a good number of bases with 200k each pretty frequently
crystal 3 works well for th8-9
