Also playing on iPad mini. Suits me just fine and I have no issues rearranging my base. Of course that's coming from playing on an iPhone4S but really the bulkier regular iPad isn't for me as I love being able to carry the mini around without needing a bigger bag.

While I love the colours and details that I get on the iPad Retina

my iPad Retina tends to get heated up after 1/2 an hour of non-stop play
(I sometimes think the chat in my clan might contribute to that, but let's not go there. :rolleyes:)
& the battery drains faster than you can say "Epic fail".
Now, coming to the iPad Mini,
typing on it can be a pain - especially since I am used to the size of the iPad & anyone who knows me in game will agree that I chat more than I raid.
Also, the lack of "crispness" and details, while fairly unnoticeable on the bigger iPad 2,
starts becoming a pain (literally, to your eyes) when the screeen's almost 1/2 the size.
But it is lighter & smaller,
so I love the fact that I can stuff my Mini into my tote while I go shopping
& sneak the occasional raid in while I'm Q-ing in line at the grocer's.

Ipad 4 FTW! Because of this game my ipad hasn't been far from my hands since it arrived. It's going to be tough now that the weather is getting nicer. Hopefully my wifi reaches my hammock :p

but I've gotten use to it already. see the vids in my th8 base design vid ? yea.. all done via iphone 5 lol.
and I prefer using my thumbs alone.
once you play on an iPad though, it's hard to go back. i use my phone when i'm out and about, but at home it's hard not to love the bigger screen for raiding. even zooming in on it and seeing all the details in the buildings is amazing, it's a different game on iPads...Quote:

Usually, a bigger screen works better for me in most cases when I stay in one spot but if I have to move around a lot, I might risk dropping it. :(
Never played on Mini. Usually use my iPad 2. But I also have iPad 4, my girl friend claims its hers so I don't get to use it much with the game
