New type of leaderboard. Only skill is allowed!!

Ok everyone so here's my idea.
There should be a new type of leaderboard where any player who doesn't buy gems but is dedicated to the game can get into. It will be a leaderboard that relies solely on skill and and gems will not be allowed when farming in this leaderboard section. Ok so how this would be implemented would be that supercell will give every player a small miniature yard that gems will not be allowed on, it will kind of be like the backyard for your main yard and gems will not be allowed in it unless from achievements. Doing this would allow any player that don't want to rely on gems make a name for themselves in the leaderboards. And doing would also give many causal players something to work for since their not at a disadvantage anymore when compared to the players that rely on gems.

ok I'll try re my myself refraining myself below.
1. Players will be given a new miniature yard that is slightly smaller and weaker then your main yard,
2. Players will not be able to use gems of any kind unless earned from a type of achievement.
3. Players in this yard will be given a new leaderboard section allowing anyone who is not a gemmer to compete in this section.
4. This isn't an idea by the way, but a statement. But 4. This will increase popularity among the casual players of coc making the game more fun, and forcing the players to rely on kill alone.
5. Can people please tell me what you think on this idea. I know its kind of rough to explain, but I know we will be able to work things out if we work together on this. Also should I add a pole. I'm not really sure what I should put if I do add one.

This will be less annoying to people they don't gem and let them ignore the possibility of buying gems altogether, reducing SC's income. Therefore it will never be implemented, ever. Sorry

Not necessarily , making a second yard that is much smaller and harder to upgrade will allow the new second yard to be kind of like a side project to do in your free time. It will be completely separate from your main yard, and since it's is much weaker then your main yard and harder to upgrade, you won't be able to get the full experience of the game without playing in both accounts. I think it would give players something to look forward to.

They would do it because it would increase popularity among the fans. Sometimes a company needs to take a hit to take a huge leap forward. If coc stopped focusing on money and worried more about costumer service, in the long run they would make a much larger profit.

Also, why on earth wouldn't supercell implement this. I think its a good idea, and allowing fans to have at least one option of where they can play, the game fairly, knowing that they will be facing people on the same level as them makes me excited. I know that I wouldn't mind buying more gems in my main yard if I knew that I also had such a fun side project to work on as well.

How exactly does that work when "focusing on customer service" means providing game modes that allow players to compete without permitting them to spend money? Focusing on customer service is great, and they should do things like improve support ticket times and add new troops, buildings, and new interesting game mechanics. What does not make sense is for them to add a mode that doesn't allow people to spend money. The whole reason the game exists is to provide people a means of spending money.

Because Supercell is a business, not a charity. Adding a mode where people can compete without spending money is a big FU to the people who do spend money. You, personally may say you'd buy more gems. Most folks probably wouldn't and in fact those that have spent a large amount of money on the game would probably be quite upset.

I don't like this idea, clash of clans doesn't require any skill gems or no gems, that's why it's such a great game anyone can play it.

This is 100% true, why on earth would anyone want to make a game involve things like skill or fun?

That's um...not what I said. There are plenty of games that do that of course. Few of them are free. Even fewer of them are top grossing app store apps.

Unfortunately gamers have voted with their wallets and freemium games on portable platforms are overwhelmingly more profitable. Feel free to make a similar game that doesn't have a gem mechanic like CoC and charge for it in the app store. If good, I might even buy it.
