Lightning spell

Justt a simple quick question about the lightning spell. Can attacking with lightning spells earn resources from storage, such as dark elixer? Thanks!!

Yes but small amounts. You can use lie 4 lightnings an a de storage that has 2k de available and get a decent amount but using 1 lightning on it would be worth it IMO but in general I don't like to zap storages not worth it imo.

BUT think if u lightning zap a higher players de they r most likely going to revenge u n take it all back plus wat ever elixir n gold u have to...I no cause that's wat I do.. if some one attacks me n just zaps my de I make it my mission to revenge them..cause de take long to save n then some noob come n zapps it n takes u back 3 raids of saving

You can do this, but whenever someone zaps my dark elixir, I am sure to train 11 dragons just for them :)

Higher player are a) likely to have more DE and therefore they can lose more and b) they have loot penalty that reduces the possibilities to get back what was lost. Additionally, c) you must train an army to revenge so revenging is often just not worhwhile. Sometimes also higher bases zap, especially those that have rushed up, and there may be resources to take. As most people, I dont like zapping and I always check who zapped. Sometimes I revenge for resources, sometimes just for fun (lol), and sometimes I just dont mind to waste res.

My thought was to use this as a strategy only as revenge attacks. If attack is a revenge attack, is the opponent given a revenge option as well?

no. And don't worry bout zapping ppls dark elixer they can't revenge you and take it all back

Thanks...is this a stupid strategy? Just going after de, and don't necessarily want to train a full complement army
