The fact that Supercell didn't include this up-front leads me to believe it must be extremely difficult for them to do so. Such an obvious thing. It's terrible watching live when you know there must be little time left but not exactly how little...
I wouldn't be surprised if this is added in the next update :)

Nice idea- I'm all for it. Being able to do so would help newer players advance more quickly as other players can spot their mistakes or follow their footsteps easily especially if there isn't a lot of time left on the war clock. ;)
i agree its so confusing i mean its not even live its just a replay that starts during the battle
