Lab upgrade query

What happens when you upgrade the lab when there is a troop upgrade in progress? Is the troop upgrade resumed after the lab upgrade finishes?

Yes. 10 characters.

Update is resumed and nothing is lost. It doesn't research while the building is being upgraded however.
