need opinions on my base. th8

Getting close to maxing out my th8 base. Have 1 more arch tower and then my tesla's to lvl 6 (they're at lvl 5 now). While im working on walls and finishing upgrades in the lab ive been playing around with designs. Frankly I tired of using or copying someone elses base. Came up with this a little while ago. Haven't even given it a test run yet but want some opinions as to where you might see a weakness or suggestions. Before it gets asked, the walls on either side act as a gimmick as you'd normally expect spring traps and bombs to be at the end so im hoping the attackers think that also and add some confusion. Base looks pretty awesome. My only concern would be the air defenses, they seem fairly easy to get to. However since they are so spread out it shouldn't be that much of an issue. Possibly vulnerable to a very smart giant healer attack. Your loot is well protected with your Wizard towers, so you should be well off in terms of losing loot. I think it's safe to say most people will attack from sides or bottom, based on all the loot towards the southern side of the CC. Overall I would say this is excellent 8/10.

Nice design. I am nearly finished maxing out my TH8 as well.

One change I made to my farming setup a while back was to move my TH all the way into a corner away from my walls. That change has resulted in noticeably more snipes, which is (of course) the goal. Why would someone want to snipe you under fire from cannons etc. when they have the option of nexting a handful of times more in search of a fully exposed one?

Thanks. I too noticed the air after I got it setup but im not sure what to move or substitute over. Guess ill have to live with it for. True, I could possibly move it more into the corner away from the base.

Made this small change with the position of the th. Now more exposed and no fire on it. Also, forgot I hadnt started my last tesla to lvl 5 so I started that and have it off into the corner. Yes, my trophies are low for a reason. Been staying in gold 3 or silver 1 as I can almost always find a 200k+ gold and elixir attack every time. Makes it alot easier to finish walls and such with that much loot coming in and as always, 1 builder free for walls.

Those outside walls are a waste of walls, troops just go around them, try and put a couple buildings in them and connect them to your other walls.

I like the style of the base, not this mainstream 4 buildings core.
BUT:
-at town hall: multiple walls don't work, wbers do splash DMG. Leave 1 tile space between 2 wall layers
-the side walls are wasted. Use them for better funneling and archer & goblin funnels.
-I'd change the second layer (the one around the core) a bit because there are too many storages at 1 point, try to spread them ;)

Looks great, I would attack at the bottom and break through with wall breakers and loot all I could. Consider a double spaced wall at the bottom for a bit more protection.
