Hey community,
I've been active to coc since 1 month again and going for my lvl5 archers now, I'm a middle-class th8. ATM I'm gold 2 and I don't understand what I'm doing wrong! I get ~250k loot per hour, because I don't find collector raids and every time I attack a guy with loot in his storages my Barchers get ♥♥♥♥ed away like nothing -.- in already using wbers ^^ I just need the gold for my wall upgrade and I could cry, BARCHing just don't worx for me :(((

Just posted a thread similar to your except i'm a TH7 looking for loot and a better strategy too. Barch'ing isn't getting me much in gold II either.
I'm not on TH8 so dark elix is harder to come by, but have you tried BAM. Barb, Archer, Minion. Minions attack high, then hit them low underneath with the barb.
I want to save DE ATM so I didn't wanted to bam ^^ I'm thinking about giwihe ATM but that takes so much time ...
Drop to silver if you want more gold. If you want more DE, stay where you are or push higher.
With barch, I've found that it's hard to get great amounts of both DE and Gold, you have to prioritize.
Okay so im going gold I now and then back to silver I ^^
With lvl4 archers (if thats what you have) it would be kinda difficult to barch in gold1 id suggest silver or gold3 maybe. Mainly silver!

If you want some DE, go to gold 1/crystal 3
I saw some mini guide that's awesome
BARCH + Rage spells.
Works great and you could use it for gold looting also if you want

I would go up, I am currently in crystal and I get ~300k/h I get that much because I can only raid once an hour(3barrCks upgrading), I am in the clan ᏝཇᏩཇསᎠᎦ, add me on Game Center:gmmp3 to view my base. If you don't belive 3 barracks are upgrading :)Quote:

I've struggled to find any collector raids of late even in Gold 3 but that doesn't mean you can't get loot! Storage raids are just as viable if you throw in a few wallbreakers!
So I'm in silver I and the loot worx. But I'm gonna try pushing up while farming that th7er low bobs ;P
