I am a fresh TH10, I only pushed to th10 so I could provide LvL 6 wizards.
This seems to be a mistake, and was hoping for some advice. I can take some basic criticism, no one needs to tell me it was stupid because I already know.
I have basically a Maxed TH8 base with an actual TH10, my mortars were TH9 maxed, but that was about it.
Any advice on getting through this nightmare. What cheap strats? or what trophy level I should stick around in.
Drop to the Silver - Gold 3 trophy levels then work on getting your walls to at least level 10 and try and max your defenses as fast as possible.
It's not nightmare at all. If your balloon is not max yet, max it and farm in crystal league using balloons (16) & minions. TH10 has to be in in crystal leagues and above.Quote:

Guys, the problem here is that he is going to have to go to crystal and attack TH9s to be able to get any significant amount of loot b/b of the loot penalty, but he has a TH8 offense which makes this very difficult. He is also going to get rolled everytime he logs off if he has any significant amount of loot b/c TH9s and 10s can smash him without having to use their whole farming armies and suffer no loot penalty.
Go to crystal and barch abandoned bases, upgrade your offense as fast as you can, and spend your gold/de as fast as you get it. You will be doing this for months so learn to love it.
Oddly enough my offense is fine, i have no problem getting the loot, the problem is keep the loot. I can BAWM all day and get trophys while doing it, but I get attacked SOOOOO often.
Get a couple infernoes asap. Upgrade them one at a time. Stay at gold league. Your defenses will own.
Good suggestion, I have 1 cooking now, and the 3rd xbow is in the works. as well. Xbows do seem overrated I think. THey are ok against tier 1 troops, but thats about it. I have been trying to get the second Inferno tower, but I keep losing the loot, only a 1.5 mil to go.
i have 2 lvl 1 and 1 lvl 2 xbow, 2 lvl 1 inferno, lvl 4 AD and WT, etc... my defenses are lower than yours and had no problem protecting my base in crystal league... now, i am in master 2, only gowipe and gowiwi 3 stars me.Quote:

Yea no kidding, I always work on offenses as a general rule, I was trying to boost up my clan. I have 220 army camp, just wanna keep my resources protected the best I can. You have a good Th10 farming set up, I can try out?Quote:

by the way, the loot you lost you should be able to get them back in 1-2 raid in crystal... if not, that means you are using a very expensive army combo.

It sounds like the pain is in losing resources, which boils down to either your defensive layout or the amount of resources you hold.
Honestly, a good defensive layout means nothing if you have TH8ish defenses. Playing in Crystal just means bigger badder raiders too, so what you can really do here would be somewhat limited except to grind through upgrades and get the inferno towers up ASAP.
What might help would be to try raiding in longer periods to rush resources for big builds and not have those resources overnight, or to leave a builder free to dump gold into walls whenever you have to log out. Together, these should really help minimize you as a target, and also reduce the amount you are looted for if and when you get hit.
