Balloons & hogs combi for clan wars

hi guys,

it is my first time posting in here and i would like to share some of my attacks in clan wars.
i was an all-hogs user before the updates and right now it is quite tough (not impossible thou) to 3stars all th9 bases.
i'm trying out balloons & hogs combi for the past few clan wars and the results were great.
i've seen others using balloons/hogs combi before and their tactics is to use hogs to get rid of air def and let balloons do the rest. the way i'm attacking is slightly diff, i'm using balloons to clear out a section or suspecting 2x4 giant bombs area n lure the castle clans troops, and remaining hogs to bash straight in to clear the rest of the def n buildings.

It's interesting that you posted this as in our current clan war, the opposing clan used this strategy against one of our town hall 9 players and earned a comfortable 3 star.
Looks like a good strategy to me; will definitely give it a shot.

Honestly it's all the same stuff in the end. During clan wars they're using the same raids over and over again. Dragons, hogs, GoWiWi, and GoWiPe.

Thanks for posting these! :cool: I've always been a huge fan of air attacks myself and have been using the DragLoon strategy most recently - it will be interesting to see what HogLoon does to change the game and it's something I hope to start using myself.

However, as someone noted below, there will always be people crying because their pacifier got taken away. I've already seen posts complaining that DragLoon has ruined wars for them. It's impossible to make a "Protect Every Strategy" base. If you want to be anti-air, chances are it wont be Anti-GoWiWi / GoWiPe and vise versa. A good strategist (in war, gaming or real life) knows that they key to getting ahead / winning is correctly predicting your enemy, knowing your own capabilities, and adapting to according to that information.

Looks like a good strategy. I will try it in our current clan war
