Why do people put teslas around th

I think most of them dont understand why it's good to put the TH away from defenses. Some put teslas around the TH, others put the TH right next to the walls with archer tower, cannons, mortars protecting it...

But for us it's actually a good thing. If they are protecting the TH, they arent protecting the resources.

Hidden Discos? Don't give me nightmares! I nearly wet myself when I read a thread about level 6 hogs... no but seriously, I move my TH all the way outside, with no traps or teslas. I do this because I don't feel like spending 50k gold re-arming traps every TH snipe. Also, teslas deal lots of damage when leveled up, making it a waste to leave them out of your base design.

At th 8 it helps! I say this for 2 reasons.

As your maxing th8 you hold a lot of loot which both th9-10 can get a good load of. If you are clever you can at least save being 3 starred and losing all of it but i never had mine all the way out side it was obviously protected to an extent the 2 archer towers and mortar we a give away.

second if someone takes your th with 3-4 archers they can rip into the rest of your base if you are rich and a th7 or 8 can usually get to one of your maxed gold and elixir storages a dumb th 9 2 of each storage, and well th10s just mess you up anyway if they are clever and don't bother with the th cause they are not after cups and loot bonuses.

For a th7 and 8 an outside th does not guarantee you any safety because they do not have the strength in defence yet or the tools to defend that effectively.

Before any one asks yes i am aware of the tempest and other bases around but good attackers know them too.

Same.

Anyone foolish enough to try and troll via placing defenses around an exposed TH are my favorite targets to then go and 2-star/3-star their base every single time, because I know right away I don't have to worry about those defenses guarding storages or de within the base. ;)

Short answer: theyre either a tool and they think its funny to watch people waste 20 more barbs and archers, or they're just a huge noob.

I prefer putting mine around the outsides but some people are plain wacky or trolls. :p
