ELDER LIMITATIONS and other available settings

Yes, I like this idea. It was also suggested on a different thread, but that was far back, so meh.

The filter should be optional within a clan. If I had to choose between putting it in there or not, I would choose not because of the ability to kick people who use inappropriate language.

If you take away these abilities it is like demoting an elder to member

Instead of adding elder limitations, why not add the ability to manage permissions in the clan. This way you can fix the co-leader permissions so they aren't able to promote other people to co-leader, etc. I've been in some clans where co-leaders were promoting everyone to their rank and it was just chaos.

Great idea dan i hope this gets added to clash.

Super cell should also add a cussing filter for clans. Many clans have rules that no cussing is allowed. Might as well remove the cussing from those clans entirely.

Good ideas!

My clan has never had any issues with elders misusing their powers, but I can still see this addition being useful. The option to enable chat filter would also rock (and kind of just makes sense!)

I see your point, but if I can't trust them to kick, invite, and accept, then they should not be elder in the first place.

The main reason for me to promote is because i'm the leader to a feeder clan and promoting shows that they are recommended to be "promoted" to the upper clan.

Maybe that should be an added status then..."recommended for promotion"??
