Upgrde golem vs valkyrie

Hi

I have golem lvl 1 and valkyrie lvl 1, so what upgrade?

Choosing between the two I would do golem.

While many are testing new attack combos with the valk proven strats like gowipe and gowiwi need their go as big and as bad as you can get him.

If you plan on using that attack combo then you are going to have to do them both regardless so it's up to personal preference which you do first.

I'd do golem as they are more useful for the higher levelled attacks like Gowiwi & Gowipe.

I love Valks but golems get more bang outta being upgraded than Valks

Golem all day long.

Far better at its job than a valk and unaffected by spring traps as well.

Its all about the golems as you move through 9 and 10.

yup. golems for sure. and i like valks, even before the upgrade. but golems have a huge bang for the buck on their upgrades. 500hp EACH upgrade. started my lvl 4's a few days ago. will be a well spent 80k de.....

vs. the most gimmicky troop...

gee iono the troop that lets u have better chance of winning or the troop that is only used because of the shiny factor.

golem hands down as it is a more versatile troops

I was in the same boat as you recently. I had ignored most DE troops in favor of hero upgrades. Now that I don't care what level my BK or AQ are, I've shifted to upgraded DE troops.

I have maxed minions, hogs, and witches already, and was left with golems and valks. I chose golems as I'm sure valks will continue to be changed (buffed, nerfed, etc) in the coming months. Same could happen to golems I suppose, but less volatility involved, IMO.

Also, as many have already stated, Valks are the newest thing to get all the hype, but I still think Golems are a better troop. Lots of health per upg so the choice was simple to me, even if valks weren't in a transitional phase right now.
