Hello. I am currently using the Mantis TH7 farming base, but I don't find it very effective. Most of the time they 3 star me. I have maxed defences and level 6 walls. Anyone know a good TH7 farming base with central CC, triangulated mortars and centralized air defence? DE and storages has to be close to the center and well protected. BB king has to protect storages aswell.
Is this base better than my current? It's made for TH7

I'm TH7 and i am using "Mantis" too. So far i'm liking.
Zero 3 stars. And the only time they took more than 100k of gold was when i had many defenses upgrading.
I tweaked a little bit by moving the storages, but i didnt change the layout.
Attachment 54046I used this Modified Pokeball from start of th7 to finish of a fully maxxed th7. Definitely held up when i was holding on to maxxed out storages a couple times.

It's not my favorite layout and i dont like that the king is outside. At the time of the pic the king could be lured, so i didnt mind then, but now i think it's very valueable to put him inside.

This is my base. Hasn't been 3 starred yet, even against th9s. I'm a new th8, so disregard extra traps and tesla and stuff in lower left. Central CC and King! Most lost was 150k resources total.
It might be your walls.
You might have maxed defenses otherwise, but the walls make your base look bad. Walls are for intimidation, but in this case your walls are telling the attacker to stomp on your base. Try and get all your walls to level 7, or atleast 75% of them.
Another thing..

I've used The Mantis but I really don't like it. It has an exposed storage which I don't really like, most of the time the funneling doesn't even work. You can get 3 starred with a Giant army from the bottom (I advise you put teslas on the bottom and not on the sides). So yeah, good choice on deciding to switch up the base.
Pokeball by Junliang isn't bad, I used it for a long while but then got bored of it. You can try Spiral Sanctuary, the Ring, Battleship, or just try making your own.
