What should I do first?

Hey guys,
I haven't been using the forums for a while, however I have come back in search of some tips on what to upgrade first...
So, as you can see, I'm a nearly maxed TH8. My clan is rapidly growing (only 6 days old) but I need to be lvl 90 and have lvl 6 archers by the end of August. I am currently saving up for TH9 but am wondering on what to upgrade first...
My clan have given me tips and obviously I will upgrade my laboratory first but what defences are the most necessary?

I would check out Unity Sharp's guide for maxing TH9 as fast as possible. It is the best guide I have seen so far.

A clan mate of mine just got a TH9 and he built and upgraded the X-Bows to level 2. He then upgraded is mortar and wizard towers. So, if you not willing to spend tons of gold upgrading your X-Bows you should upgrade you splash damage first and get your AQ to 5 ASAP.
