Best use of Gems ?

First off let me point out, I do not "buy" any gems..... I save them ...... every single one, until I have enough to buy a builder. Well, I just bought my final and last builder (#5). I am TH-8, thinking of going to TH-9 in a couple weeks.

So my Question now is, what is the best use of Gems at this point (since I have never really used any).

• Gems to boost Pumps/Mines?
• Gems to boost DE Drill?
• Gems to finish upgrades early?
• Gems to boost troop production (maybe for a day of raiding)?

Just looking for some feedback.

Boost your barracks and raid a lot so you can get an expensive upgrade.

Barracks and/or spell factory for more efficient raiding sessions.

Also, when an upgrade is going to finish at an inconvenient time, can gem the final hours or minutes relatively cheaply.

after all 5 builders (which you now have), the next best use is for boosting barracks and the spell factory for expedited farming sessions of at least 2 straight hours.

ok for me the best use I had for gems at first was getting 5 builders. After that, I gemmed some barracks when farming hard, never gem any of the collectors, kinda a waste. AS far as gemming stuff to rush it, the only things I gem are troop upgrades.

This is probably one of the WORST ways to use gems. You can easily pull in 50k dark elixir a day by boosting barracks and raiding for de in around 2000-2600 cup range.

i was more going for finishing troops bc i dont like waiting. but ok.

I would never buy resources w gems - you are definitely right there.

Always builder first then using it to boost your barracks while Barching, raid every 5 minutes woot.
