Why doesn't supercell just fix the loot problem by...
Increasing available loot
Right now you can only steal a certain percentage of loot from certain th lvls
Th 5 20% with a cap of 200k
Th 6 18% with a cap of 200k
Th 7 16% with a cap of 250k
Th 8 14% with a cap of 300k
Th 9 12% with a cap of 350k
Th 10 10% with a cap of 400k
So if you have 1 million gold in your storages....
At Town Hall level 5 you will have 200k of your gold available to attackers (20%)
At Town Hall level 6 you will have 180k of your gold available to attackers (18%)
At Town Hall level 7 you will have 160k of your gold available to attackers (16%)
At Town Hall level 8 you will have 140k of your gold available to attackers (14%)
At Town Hall level 9 you will have 120k of your gold available to attackers (12%)
At Town Hall level 10 you will have 100k of your gold available to attackers (10%)
But if supercell changed the loot system to
Th 5 40% with a cap of 200k
Th 6 36% with a cap of 200k
Th 7 32% with a cap of 250k
Th 8 28% with a cap of 300k
Th 9 24% with a cap of 350k
Th 10 20% with a cap of 400k
So now If you have 1 million gold in your storages....
At Town Hall level 5 you will have 200k of your gold available to attackers (40%)
At Town Hall level 6 you will have 200k of your gold available to attackers (28%)
At Town Hall level 7 you will have 250k of your gold available to attackers (32%)
At Town Hall level 8 you will have 280k of your gold available to attackers (28%)
At Town Hall level 9 you will have 240k of your gold available to attackers (24%)
At Town Hall level 10 you will have 200k of your gold available to attackers (20%)
This way you will find bases with 200k+ in storages much faster while keeping the loot cap the same. So you don't get attacked and lose like 600k gold.
Pros
Since the loot cap is the same maxing th 8's th 9's and th 10's who need to save up for upgrades and need to keep millions of gold saved up, this change won't affect them on defense and with finding better loot this change will greatly benefit them
And wall farmers will love this too
Cons
But for premie th 8 and th 7 and below who only need to save up less than 1 mil gold for an upgrade this change might be very hard for them considering that only having 1 mil gold makes them attackable for 250k gold is kind of problem.
Though being at th 7 and below is only for a short amount of time and with such a low cost for upgrades the gold they can make in a couple hours can easily be spent on buildings and walls so they shouldn't really be saving up gold and elixer anyways.
