Except walls, TH8 took me 5 months from a maxed TH7. Builders are 95% busy all the time. About 160 hours work week.

I upgraded to TH9 a little early for the offensive boost and have not regretted it since, that and I really didn't care to wait the months and months it would take to max everything at TH8 just to wait for said offensive boosts.
