If your farming troops are maxed go for it. TH8 is the worst town hall, it is extremely boring. Your splash is maxed. Just be sure to stay in gold.
Max your barbarian king & get all skulls.

Here's my opinion: Max teslas, barb king, and walls. I just finished th 9 from a maxed th 8 and Im getting smashed by ♥♥♥♥♥ th 10s all the time now. Do every upgrade you can, it will just get harder protecting loot at th 9.Quote:

Are all traps maxed? I'd make sure air bombs are are lvl 3 as well as they are splash damage to air.
No reason to sit around with inactive builders if all you had left were walls, but you've still got a bit more to do.
I'm gonna disagree with all above.. you're ready to go. I did have a bit more offensive power but you're actually a little further ahead defensively, I was maxed besides ad/archer tower (1 lvl away) teslas (2 lvl away). I did have my interior level completed with skulls. I went about 3 weeks ago. I haven't had any issues or regrets. The defensive power of another ad, wiz tower, 2 x-bows and the lvl 6 troops weren't worth the wait.
I would say that as you go through your 10 day upgrade try and work on some skullies but more importantly have the 6m gold and 40k de at least by the end of the upgrade so you can buy both x-bows and the archer queen immediately.
I disagree with anyone who is saying your not ready. Your defenses are all maxed out except Teslas. Your BK is fine. I went to TH 9 with a lvl 2 BK haha. My BK is now lvl 8 and my AQ lvl 6. I still have pink walls (lvl 6) and I win on defense every time at Crystal 1/2. I don't get attacked in Crystal 3.
